The people of Orere Ward (8) of Warri South West Local Government under the Hon. Daniel Omayone Mayuku Political Front have felicitated with Delta State Governor-Elect, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori on his resounding victory in the just concluded Governorship Election. They equally congratulated Hon Guwor Omomotimi on his re-election as a member representing Warri South West State Constituency
In a Press Statement by Mode Augustine, Ward Chairman and Gbeneso Omatseye, Ward Secretary, they stated that; “Our joy knows no bounds as your calm disposition and personality gives us assurance that Delta State is in a safe and capable hand. We know your pedigree as Speaker of the House and pray God Almighty to give you the wisdom to drive the course of progress and development in Delta State, using your ‘MORE’ mantra”.
“We rejoice with you Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, our Governor elect, our dogged Party leader Senator Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, Hon. Guwor Omomotimi, member representing Warri South West constituency, our State and Local Government Party Executives, our teaming members and all Orere Ward leaders and Party members for this feat. Our God is good and able. Once again, congratulations as we await your swearing in with great expectations”, they added.
In another development, the PDP Woman Leader, Orere Ward 8, Warri South West Local Government Area of the State, Mrs Patricia Mofe Ikoba has been suspended As Member of PDP Orere Ward 8 And As Ward Executive Member.
Mr Mode Augustine, Ward Chairman and Mr Gbeneso Omatseye, Ward Secretary in a letter of suspension wrote that; “We are directed to inform you of your suspension from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Orere Ward (8) and as a Member of the Ward Executive (Woman leader)”.
The added that; “Your suspension is based on the antiparty role you were said to have played during the Saturday 18th March 2023, Governorship and Assembly elections on which a Disciplinary Committee is set up for proper investigation. Until the completion of the investigation, you are to submit all Party property in your possession to the Secretary of the Ward”.
